Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 9, 2026

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how QuickDraft ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and discloses information when you visit or use our website at quickdraft.in (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly. When you contact us through our contact form, we receive the name, email address, subject, and message you submit. We use this only to respond to your inquiry.

Draft content. Drafts you create are stored in your own browser using local storage. We do not transmit, read, or store your draft content on our servers unless you explicitly create a shareable link, in which case the content is stored in encrypted form solely to enable that link.

Automatically collected information. Like most websites, our servers and our service providers automatically log standard request information, which may include IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring page, pages visited, date and time of access, and approximate location derived from IP. This data is used for security, abuse prevention, performance monitoring, and aggregate analytics.

3. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to operate the Service, remember your preferences, measure performance, and (where applicable) deliver and measure advertising. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the Service may not function correctly without them.

4. Third-Party Services and Advertising

Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, may serve ads on the Service. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and other sites on the Internet.

DoubleClick DART cookie. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies (including the DoubleClick DART cookie) to serve ads. Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.

Other ad partners. Some of our advertising partners may also use cookies and web beacons. You can opt out of interest-based advertising from many participating companies through aboutads.info/choices and youronlinechoices.eu.

Analytics. We may use Google Analytics or similar tools to understand aggregate usage of the Service. These tools may set cookies and collect information such as your IP address, device identifiers, and pages visited. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

We do not control third-party cookies. Please review the privacy policies of these third parties for more information.

5. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve the Service; to respond to inquiries; to detect and prevent abuse, fraud, and security incidents; to comply with legal obligations; and, where applicable, to deliver and measure advertising.

6. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers who process data on our behalf (such as hosting, analytics, and advertising partners), with law enforcement or other authorities when required by law, and in connection with a corporate transaction such as a merger or acquisition. Any such sharing is subject to appropriate safeguards.

7. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port the personal information we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. You may exercise these rights by emailing us at support@quickdraft.in. We will respond within the time frame required by applicable law.

EEA / UK (GDPR). Our legal bases for processing include consent, performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, and our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service.

California (CCPA / CPRA). California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and to opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information as those terms are defined under California law. We do not sell personal information for monetary value.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA/UK), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

9. Data Retention and Security

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy or as required by law. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

10. International Transfers

Information we collect may be processed in countries other than the country in which you reside. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses for cross-border transfers.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be notified through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
