Cookies Policy

1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that websites place on your device when you visit them. They are widely used to make websites work, to make them work more efficiently, and to provide reporting information. Cookies may be "session" cookies, which are deleted when you close your browser, or "persistent" cookies, which remain on your device for a longer period.
In addition to traditional cookies, QuickDraft also uses related technologies such as local storage, which is used to save your drafts directly in your own browser without sending them to our servers.
2. How QuickDraft Uses Cookies
QuickDraft uses cookies and similar technologies for several purposes. We try to use them as sparingly as possible, but some are required for the Service to work correctly.
Strictly Necessary
These are used to operate the Service. For example, when you log in, a small session token is stored so that the Service remembers you on the next request. Without these, basic features such as authentication and password-protected drafts would not function.
Preferences
These remember choices you make, such as your selected theme (light or dark mode) and editor layout, so that we can give you a consistent experience across visits.
Analytics
We may use analytics services, such as Google Analytics, to understand how visitors use the Service in aggregate. These help us identify which features are popular, where users encounter issues, and how we can improve. Analytics cookies do not identify you personally.
Advertising
QuickDraft displays advertising through third-party ad networks such as Google AdSense. These networks may set cookies to show ads that are more relevant to you, to limit how many times you see the same ad, and to measure the effectiveness of ad campaigns.
3. Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies on the Service are set by third parties, not by us. We do not control these cookies, and you should review the policies of those third parties for more information.
| Provider | Purpose | More Information |
|---|---|---|
| Google AdSense | Display advertising and measure ad performance | Google Ads policy |
| Google Analytics | Aggregate usage analytics | Google Privacy Policy |
| Hostinger | Hosting, caching, and performance | Hostinger Privacy Policy |
4. Local Storage and Drafts
Most of your draft content is not stored in cookies at all. Instead, QuickDraft saves drafts in your browser's local storage. This means the content stays on your own device unless you explicitly create a shareable link, in which case the content is stored on our servers in order to enable that link.
Clearing local storage in your browser will remove any drafts that have not been saved to a shareable link.
5. Your Choices and Controls
You have several options to control or restrict how cookies are used on your device.
Browser Settings
All modern browsers let you view, manage, and delete cookies and clear local storage. You can also configure your browser to block cookies from specific sites or all sites. Doing so may break some features of the Service.
Opt-Out of Personalized Advertising
You can opt out of personalized advertising from many providers in one place at aboutads.info/choices or youronlinechoices.eu. To opt out of personalized ads served by Google, visit Google Ads Settings.
Opt-Out of Google Analytics
To opt out of Google Analytics across all websites, you can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
6. Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. There is currently no consistent industry standard for how websites should respond to DNT signals. QuickDraft does not change its behavior based on DNT requests, but we do honor the cookie controls described above.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookies Policy from time to time to reflect changes in technology, our practices, or legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
8. Contact
If you have questions about our use of cookies or this policy, contact us at support@quickdraft.in or visit our contact page.
